Making stuff

Sometimes it’s nice to build more tangible objects than code and statistical models. Station North Tool Library is a great place!

Here are some pictures of my workshop where I primarily do woodworking and, more recently, metalworking.

I have a 1961 Triumph TR3 that I’m working on.

Catching stuff

Flyfishing is another hobby, with my go-to local river of Gunpowder Falls, and my East Coast favorites the small limestone streams in Central PA, like the Letort. Jones Falls is getting closer to supporting native trout populations thanks to Blue Water Baltimore, which would be terrific. Some of the notable but perhaps somewhat-overrated placed I’ve spent time on the water are the Willowemoc Creek, the Frying Pan, the River Test, and the River Tweed.

Playing stuff

I don’t recommend any of these if you have important commitments or responsibilities.
